Doctoral candidate (PhD student) in the field of modern or contemporary European history (M / F)

The Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C2DH) is a research centre for the study, analysis and public dissemination of contemporary history of Luxembourg and Europe with a particular focus on digital methods and tools for doing innovative historical research.
It serves as a catalyst for innovative and creative scholarship and new forms of public dissemination and societal engagement with history.
The TRAUSCH project at C2DH is looking to hire a doctoral candidate as part of a recent donation granted by the André Losch Foundation.
The doctoral candidate will work under supervision of Assistant Professor Benoît Majerus in the sub-project Gilbert Trausch comme historien national et européen .
This sub-project aims to sketch the trajectory of an historian in the second half of the 20thcentury by taking into account national and transnational networks.
