Accounts Administrator MUR134 Greenfield is pleased to be representing a global investment manager specialising in real estate equity and debt investment worldwide.
To support their local Team, they are looking for an Accounts Administrator to work alongside the team of accountants based in Luxembourg and London.
The person will provide administrative support to the fund finance team, assist in Financial reporting for Fund mandates, provide support to the respective Finance and Asset Managers.
This role is a new opportunity in the Luxembourg office and is a full-time position for someone hands on involvement with reporting and cash flow management.
The Role : Provide administrative support to the fund finance team, undertaking tasks such as coding invoices, preparing information for tax and VAT filings, regular fund and asset reporting and basic bookkeeping / management accounting.
Processing and booking of invoices for entities in the portfolio.
Acting as a liaison between the Luxembourg Fund Team and accounts payable with regards to payments.
Reconciliation of payables / receivables general ledger Acting as the point of contact for agents with regards to signing, administration and filing of contracts and other documents.
Managing team interactions internal (VAT, operations, treasury, fund management) and external (administrators, trustees, auditors, tax advisors, managing agents, banks, etc) as required Preparing and checking rental reconciliations, reviewing bank reconciliations Preparation of VAT returns Preparation of loan compliance covenants Preparation and filing of year-
end financial statements Preparation of Quarterly reporting Day to day accounting responsibilities Preparation of year-end audit files Your Profile : Relevant first experience of one to two years Degree or equivalent in either Accounting or Finance Working knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP Knowledge of the MRI property / accounting system is advantageous Fluency in English is a must, any other European language would be a plus Team player -
Close liaison with the finance and operations team, as well as external advisers Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with investors and external contacts Good organisational skills and ability to work to, and sometime implement own processes Teamwork / Commercial -
