As (Senior) Project Manager Customer Solutions you would be responsible for the management of implementation projects for Kuehne+Nagel Integrated Logistics (4PL Supply Chain Management).

As such, you would be responsible for executing the regionally and globally aligned project management methodologies and risk control mechanisms for various Integrated Logistics (4PL Supply Chain Management) implementation projects.

Your Responsibilities

  • Project responsibilities include requirements gathering, solution validation / testing, deployment and stabilization of all deployed solutions
  • Establishing, tracking and reporting on progress related to the entire scoped solution under implementation : Process (e.
  • g. Operational Designs), People (e.g. related Operational, Logistics Service Providers and other related onboarding / ramp ups in addition to resources / SMEs required to support the project under implementation as per plan) and Technology (e.

    g. technical design templates to be used, modifications to those templates, realization of technical enablers, etc.)

  • Supporting to evaluate the solution & budget for new customer implementation projects during the Business Development cycle which can include project initiation, plan and design, validation, deployment and post deployment support
  • Advocates, manages and coordinates activities related to an approved Integrated Logistics solution implementation, in conjunction with other Kuehne+Nagel functional areas, for all phases of the project lifecycle
  • Manage a virtual project team of subject matter experts in IT, Process Owner area, Legal, Finance, procurement, and Operations, across multiple countries.
  • Train & support to train operational resources, client resources, logistics suppliers, and material suppliers

  • Supports and works closely with the related Business Management / Excellence Manager (i.e. customer account management), Logistics Process Owner function during all business implementation activities.
  • Support Solution Design during Business Development Lifecycle as and when needed

    Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor or Master's level, preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain management
  • Proven ability of leading projects in logistics environment
  • Experience in leading people (directly and / or indirectly). Working with remote teams and matrix structures is a plus
  • Strong customer orientation / stakeholder management abilities and knowledge of commercial acumen
  • Fluency in English is required, good knowledge of other European language(s) is a plus
