Category Manager - Marketing & Agency

Location Luxembourg, HM Giulia Palma

As a Category manager Marketing & Agency you are part of the VPC creative agency and engagement marketing team and have a shared responsibility for managing the global category spend relating to both category areas.

You will work with a range of stakeholders and suppliers in both locally and in group functions and various to senior levels.

The team develops and executes the global category strategies including innovative commercial modelling. You will be driving change and leveraging support functions to add value to the end to end supply chain process.

You will

  • Drive change across the business, ensuring on time delivery of savings and other benefits
  • Optimise supplier performance through strong commercial management, ensuring business value is delivered & competitive advantage is maintained
  • Manage multiple business requirements through to a speedy resolution whilst delivering optimal business results & ensuring compliance to policy
  • Simplify business processes driving efficiency & effectiveness
  • It would be nice if you have

  • Business acumen : know the competition, the market place, knowledgeable in practices and trends
  • Good interpersonal skills and multinational experience
  • Strong Analytical skills and creative mindset
  • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication
  • Results focused driven
  • Collaborative and the ability to manage a wide range of strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers at all levels
  • You must have

  • University degree, master degree preferred
  • In-depth knowledge on marketing communication
  • Excellent commercial and contract negotiation skills
  • Effective influencing and relationship management skills with both external and internal stakeholders
  • Solid experience in Purchasing
  • High level of proficiency with Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Proactive and pragmatic work ethic #groupresourcing
