Guardian is seeking an based close to any Guardian location in Europe. This position is responsible for the design, contracting, installation and commissioning of industrial mechanical utilities systems including : water treatment and water cooling systems, natural gas and back-up systems (LPG, Diesel fuel) and distribution, compressed air installations, industrial gas systems, including N2, H2;
O2, HVAC and air cooling systems and piping and ductwork.
What You Will Do In Your Role
Work with Eng-Ex, OpEx, and Operations teams to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules
Define appropriate system redundancies if needed.
Manage all aspects related to assigned portion of projects
Prepare equipment and system requirements including design as required, specifications, installation scopes of work and RFQs
Perform contractor analyses and selection, contract and contractor management as required
Supervise the on-site activities to assure the implementation to be done in full respect of safety rules, respecting timeline, budget and quality requirements
Manage the scope, budget, and schedule throughout the project and document, justify, and obtain approvals for significant changes

The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Extensive experience in industrial Engineering. Float Glass experience preferred.
Fluent in English, any additional language is considered an advantage.
Self-Motivated and able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment
Strong technical knowledge to design, specify, procure, install, and commission systems
Skilled to predict, recognize, and effectively solve problems and interferences
Effectively manage contractors, budgets, and schedules
High degree of safety awareness and understanding of safety rules and regulations
Ability to : Communicate effectively (verbal & written) within the department, regional, and global organizations
Ability to read and modify drawings in .dwg. Experience with MS Office and MS Project.
Travel International when needed (between 10-75% of working time, depending on the project phase)
