Your primary tasks as a Marie Curie Fellow are to :
Manage and drive forward your research project.
Attend doctoral school courses and network trainings
Write scientific articles and your PhD thesis.
Disseminate your research at conferences and seminars.
Stay at an external company and / or research institute outside Luxembourg.
Master's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or a related subject
Good English language skill
Willingness to work in an inter-cultural and international environment.
Willingness to travel for extended visits and research stays
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Curiosity and self-motivation
You must be an early stage researcher (i.e. in the first 4 years of his / her research career and not have a doctoral degree) and you must not have resided in Luxembourg for more than 12 months in the three years immediately before the recruitment.
A dynamic and well-equipped research environment within the Computational Modelling and Simulation department at UL.
Intensive training in scientific and transferable skills, participation in schools, conferences and workshops and Marie-
Curie Training Network events.
Enrollment as a PhD student in the Doctoral School of Science and Engineering at UL.
