About the role
As the CFO iptiQ EMEA P&C Luxembourg, you will have a unique and exciting opportunity to join us : a diverse and motivated team, committed to delivering value and innovative services together with our clients and partners in the primary insurance space.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced CFO in Luxembourg. Your focus will be on our non-life insurance carrier based in Luxembourg.
You will be responsible for multi-valuation management and financial reporting of the assigned legal entity according to Luxembourg GAAP and meaningful branch local GAAPs, US GAAP as well as Economic and Solvency II valuation principles for the company based in Luxembourg.
You are responsible for the preparation of the Annual Accounts, the quarterly and annual regulatory reporting to the insurance supervisor, internal reporting to Senior Management, the Business Unit and the Board of Directors as well as ad-
hoc reporting requirements. You will lead and handle regulatory compliance in so far as it relates to financial reporting for iptiQ P&C legal entity and all its European branches.
In addition, you are responsible for balance sheet management and financial planning of the entity and you steer capital, dividend, liquidity and risk mitigation structures and decisions including reinsurance structures, in close coordination with other key function holders.
You will be responsible for internal coordination with various Group and Business Functions and key partners to ensure effective financial management of the company.
In your role you will have the responsibility for establishing reliable and efficient financial reporting processes for the assigned entity and branches and ensure operational completion to reduce operational risk.
You will be responsible for comprehensive financial analysis to your business partners, supporting the business in handling and achieving their financial key performance indicators relating to the assigned legal entity.
You will actively engage with all relevant partners to support the legal entity and business unit in achieving its strategic priorities and financial targets.
You are the main local finance contact for internal and external stakeholders, partners and auditors acting as the key contact for legal entity financial reporting matters of the assigned entity in Luxembourg.
Further, you develop and ensure compliance with the risk and control framework and audit requirements to ensure that financial reporting risk are appropriately and effectively led.
