Guardian Industries is seeking you to become our next Regional Procurement Manager for Luxembourg and the UK ! Effective individuals must be self-
directed, work with a high sense of urgency and possess a track record of success solving problems through collaboration with cross-
functional teams. This position would be ideally based in one of our locations.
A Day In The Life Typically Includes
Lead a team of purchasing and storeroom professionals to excellence in the optimization of working capital, leveraging competitively advantaged agreements and overall project execution.
Create an environment where employee’s daily actions emphasize safety first and adherence to environmental compliance and internal financial controls
Coach and mentor site level procurement team members to help them learn, apply and advance Market Based Management®
Lead talent development to create scalability by maximizing the comparative advantage of the team members
Creates personal development plans for team members to ensure continuous evolution and maximize the comparative advantage of team members.
Provide regional leadership of procurement execution activities : program launches, projects execution, spend management, and contract compliance to maximize operational and financial performance, all while reducing financial risk.
Apply critical economic thinking to identify gaps and opportunities across the sites versus business objectives and What Good Looks Like.
Drive procurement actions to close gaps, mitigate risk and meet customer expectations for the region and sites
Partner with Business, Site Leadership and suppliers to create superior value and meet financial expectations inclusive of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
Manage and be accountable for purchasing and store room operations across many facilities with high levels of spend and inventory in high volume, multi-
What You Will Need?
Fluent in French and English
Previous experience in purchasing or inventory management is desirable
Financial Analysis, Consolidation and Reporting
Technical experience (engineering, six-sigma, program management or relatable experience)
Advanced experience with Microsoft O365 core suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, Teams, etc.)
What Will Put You Ahead?
Leadership capabilities and ability to lead remote direct reports
Knowledge and experience in the areas of Contract Excellence (Legal and Commercial)
Float Glass and Automotive Manufacturing experience
Experience with eSourcing and ERP systems
Willing and able to travel an approximate 30%
