Aim of the Role

Account manager’s responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of affiliate partners, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.

Account Manager liaises between partners and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to partner needs.

He manages and develops partner accounts to maintain and optimise business relationships with them.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Account manager is responsible for building the long-term relationships with reactivated, assigned and existing customers as well as being the primary point of contact
  • Negotiate, develop, and analyse affiliate contracts and deals to maintain revenue, growth targets and KPI's on a day-to-day basis
  • Helps partners answering their daily questions through phone, Skype, e-mail, and personal meetings
  • Develops a trusted advisor relationships with all business partners
  • Ensures that the partners successfully get all the solutions to their needs and objectives in a timely manner as well as ensuring the brand is represented adequately
  • Clearly communicates the progress of monthly / quarterly initiatives Forecasts and tracks key account metrics (churn rate, support requests, retention rate, revenue growth, relationship growth, etc.)
  • Updates professional knowledge by occasionally participating in industry events Monitors and analyzes partners’ usage of the products / services
  • Responsible for working with the Business Development team to onboard and integrate new clients
  • Liaises between the partners and internal teams
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager or Management
  • Attend industry events and keeping up to date with trends.
  • Work experience

  • 3-5 years of account management experience in the affiliate industry
  • Experience in adult industry is not a must but highly desirable (preferably also related to services / B2B and B2C) will be considered as a strong asset
  • Personal competences, language skills

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive with the strong sense of accountability and day-to-day focus on bottom-line results
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual skills and commercial understanding
  • Capability to think strategically
  • Ability to work in international and multi-functional environment
  • Quick learner
  • Availability and willingness to travel
  • Ability to research, analyze and present information
  • Highly motivated and flexible team player committed to deliver results within short deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Accurate record-keeping ability
  • Good competency with Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel
  • Open to training and expanding his / her knowledge, skills and methods of working
  • English is must. French, Dutch, Spanish, German, Hungarian will be considered as a strong asset
