We are looking for an EMEA Supply Chain Supervisor Tyvek® / Global Supply Chain Manager Typar® F / M based in Luxembourg.
Main responsabilities :
Leads and manages activities of supply chain professionals.
Provides leadership to define, implement, and optimize the supply chain strategies and objectives in support of business strategies and objectives.
Evaluates the competitiveness of the business supply chain with respect to service, cost, and investment.
Leads improvement activities in all aspects of the supply chain to simplify where possible.
Provides leadership to ensure customer needs are adequately met by the business supply chain plans.
Manages the activities, performance, development, and capabilities of their Supply Chain Professionals.
Develops, integrates and executes the supply chain strategy and plan in support of the business and functional strategies / COTs, and meet customer needs through integrated processes, systems and use of technology
Establishes the supply chain performance targets and evaluates actual performance in support of business and functional strategies.
Represents the risks associated with the supply chain and current plans and their options and contingencies to mitigate them.
Represents the supply chain capabilities for the short (0 3 months), mid (3 24 months) and long-term (5-year plan) horizons.
Identifies the appropriate models necessary for supply chain optimization and recommend actions to the Business team.
Driving process simplification and standardization
Builds and ensures capability and leveragability in supply chain processes and best practices and their execution across all businesses and functions globally,
Owns the integrity of data in applicable systems.
Manage finished goods distribution and inventory plans.
With the Demand Manager, define and communicate order acceptance and handling policies that balance customer requirements with supply chain capabilities
Develops and maintains policies and procedures for safety stock, lead time, MTO / MTS strategies, schedule changes and appropriate approvals.
Meet customer delivery requirements within policies / procedures and compliance with regulatory and export control.
Role pre-requisites and preferences
Minimum 5-year equivalent SC experience, Manufacturing, scheduling, and planning experience
Experience managing and planning contract manufacturing supply chains
Experience in managing and planning multi-regional supply chains
Experience in SAP and SAP-APO DP / SNP and PPDS or equivalent integrated ERP and planning systems
Training / certifications
APICS CPIM certification (required prior to role)
Green Belt (required)
Six Sigma Black Belt and / or certified Lean Practitioner (preferred)
SAP / APO / BW (or equivalent) preferred
Languages / location
Business level English required. Additional languages (German / French / Luxembourgish) are a plus.
Global locations considered.
BS / BA degree in Supply Chain, business, or technical field and / or
APICS certification, and / or
5 years relevant experience
