FINANCIAL REPORTING OFFICER

Mission :

The Private Capital department is part of the Asset Fund Services business unit. It is composed of the Transfer Agency, Custody, Fund Administration, Financial Reporting, Transaction Framing, Client Account Management and Business Implementation teams.

This job description is focused on the role of PC Financial Reporting Officer, part of the PC Financial Reporting Team.

Within the PC Department, the main responsibilities of the Financial Reporting Officer are

The preparation, validation, sending and filing of the financial statements

The management of any queries in relation to the Financial Statements activity (either internal or external)

The preparation and filing of legal reports to the CSSF and BCL

The execution of any other tasks improving the quality of service delivered to the client. Tasks such as quality controls, project participation

Financial statements

  • Preparation of audited and unaudited financial statements for all PC entities (Funds, securitisation vehicles, general partners, holding companies etc ) in LuxGaap, IFRS or other Gaaps
  • Preparation of interim reports for PC entities on a semi-annual or quarterly basis
  • Execution of 1st level controls in respect with BP2S procedures
  • To publish via e-file the audited reports and other related documents for funds to CSSF
  • To make the filing of the annual accounts in LuxGaap to eCDF platform via the smart card reader Lux Trust and hereafter to indicate to Lux Fund Domiciliation when the filing is done
  • Assistance in annual and interim audits
  • Completion of all checklists linked to the financial statements process
  • Respond to any query in relation to the financial statements
  • Stay informed about accounting standards and legal environment updates
  • Legal reporting

  • Preparation and filing of O4.1 reports to the CSSF for regulated funds on an annual basis
  • Preparation and filing of K3.1 reports to the CSSF for SICARs on a semi-annual basis
  • Preparation and filing of G2.1 reports to the CSSF for management companies on a quarterly basis
  • Respond to any query in relation to legal reports produced for private capital entities
  • To assist FA Legal Reporting Team in the preparation and follow-up of BCL and CSSF legal reports
  • Management of internal and external relationship

  • Provide client service and support for BAU and ongoing operational issues
  • Maintaining efficient external relationships with clients, managers, sales representatives, auditors
  • Actively participating to the team organisation by taking initiatives and by being implicated in common projects
  • Improving hierarchy relationship by reporting regularly encountered problems and outstanding work (escalation process)
  • Responsible of a budget (FTE, results, costs) : yes-no
  • Frequency of relations : Internal relationships40% / External relationships : 60%

    Education and professional experience

    Technical competencies

    Minimum BAC +3 or relevant professional experience

    Investment funds experience of at least 2 years

    English mandatory, German strongly appreciated, French and Italian considered as an asset

    Fund Accounting education or at least 2 year experience in NAV calculations or Financial Statements

    Elaboration, preferably in the private equity sector

    considered as an asset
