Location Luxembourg

As a Category Manager HR you will, together with the SCM HR team, be in charge of all HR spending at Vodafone across its footprint.

This team is supported by admin resources located in our Indian shared service center. Main categories include External (contingent) workforce, Recruitment, Learning and HR Services.

The team’s focus is strategy development and execution. Our team values are : we win or lose as a team, we help each other, we provide instant feedback and we learn.

We use extensively digital tools to action on data (iView, Cellonis, SAP, Fieldglass) and to collaborate effectively cross-functionally (MS Teams, Ariba, etc).

You will

  • Work in close cooperation with HR, Finance and SCM teams at Group and the Local Operating Companies.
  • Drive cost saving initiatives and TCO reduction in the category.
  • Build sustainable partnerships with local markets and suppliers to deliver targeted value.
  • Be accountable for industry knowledge to maintain category expertise.
  • Be responsible for spend scope across a number of markets across expertise areas in HR.
  • Lead and support sourcing activities, launch e-auction / RFPs / RFIs / RFQs.
  • Work agile : lead scrums, contribute cross-category, move actions fast and involve people cross-company.
  • Actively scout for digital solutions and new, better ways of doing things.

  • Previous experience in sourcing / procurement of HR
  • Can deal with an international, functional matrix environment with a certain degree of ambiguity
  • University degree, master degree preferred
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Fluency in English (work language)

  • Team player and International mind-set
