Luxembourg is the European Headquarters for John Deere Financial. The primary activity is providing financial services to customers and dealers who want to finance John Deere equipment.

John Deere Bank SA ( JDB ) holds a full banking license and is regulated by the CSSF. We are looking for a :

FINANCE INTERN ( 6 months starting September 2022)

The Intern will support our Finance department in Luxembourg :

Financial & Regulatory Reporting team, responsible for Financial Statements and EBA regulatory reporting; and Financial Analysis team, responsible for forecasting, pricing and analysis.

Your key responsibilities :

Participate to the financial and regulatory reporting activities in compliance with European Banking Authority (EBA) reporting frameworks and IFRS.

Participate to the monthly closing activities in US GAAP and IFRS for John Deere Bank and its Branches / Subsidiaries,

Support in identifying processes to be automated and drive the transformation of the identified process ( power query, power automate)

Create visualizations using Power BI

What It Takes :

Education in Accounting / Finance / Economics

Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus

Experience in business intelligence reporting tools ( Power Bi) and capacity to independently automate and enhance processes ( excel macros, power automate)

Basic understanding of analytical techniques

Strong analytical and communication skills

Proficiency in using standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel)

High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Strong team player
