Project Portfolio & Continuous Improvement Manager (m / f)
Main duties :
Project & Portfolio Management
Manages the LG Technics project portfolio and reports project and portfolio status to VP Technics on a regular basis
Develops a portfolio strategy and ensures alignment of projects to the portfolio strategy
Assesses project ideas with respect to operational and financial benefits (Business Case), performs feasibility analysis and coordinates project selection with VP Technics
Responsible for internal project prioritization and allocated resources
Responsible for project portfolio budget planning and cost control activities
Ensures reporting to PMO and other stakeholders
Leads / coordinates and / or participates to projects within LG Technics
Supports project managers and team members with coaching and / or mentoring and provides training on project management related topics
Performs market observations for innovative technologies and assesses potential adoptions
Continuous Improvement
Develops concepts and implements guidelines for a Continuous Improvement Process within LG Technics
Ensures a sustainable and effective Change Management Strategy in close coordination with VP Technics
Leads and coordinates the communication activities of the dedicated Change Agents within LG Technics
Develops and maintains the Communication Plan together with the Change Agents, provides and coordinates communication and team-building related training activities
Consolidated Key Performance Management
Implements a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Measurement system
Supervises the regular team performance dialogue activities within LG Technics
Responsible for the collection, consolidation, development and evaluation of KPIs
Ensures target-oriented reporting within LG Technics and towards other stakeholders
Provides training and supports departments in performance management related aspects
Required profile :
Minimum required criteria :
Be holder of a university degree "BAC+5" in Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience on a similar position
Provide a proven experience in Project Management
Have knowledge and / or experience with project / service management methodologies or in Airline systems
Be able to work on an abstract, conceptual level, while always remaining pragmatic and focused on concrete, tangible results achieved within fixed and realistic deadlines
Show proven facilitation, communication and presentation skills
Have excellent organization skills
Have excellent analytical skills
Demonstrate a strong affinity for a wide range of software applications
Have an advanced command of standard office applications
Have proficient user skills in the specific software tools used within the Technics environment
Show excellent communication skills in English as well as skills in French or German (spoken and written)

The ideal candidate :
Knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language is considered as an asset
