Post-doctoral researcher / research associate in UX design (M / F)
The post-doctoral researcher will be affiliated to the Human Computer Interaction (HCI) research group within the Institute of Cognitive Science and Assessment (COSA).
The successful candidate will lead scientific research in the field of user experience (UX) design and apply UX design and evaluation methods to support the group’s research projects across various fields as e.
g., socio-technical security, computer-based assessment and digital collaborative learning. The researcher will further liaise with relevant stakeholders and users, and take responsibility for official deliverables / reports.
He / she will furthermore proactively support strategic funding and partnership activities, both within traditional academic networks and outside (e.
g. private sector or policy makers). The researcher will have access to all available resources including a state-of-the art user laboratory.
Support the group’s synergistic activities such as brainstorming days, research colloquia and trainings.

A significant post-doctoral and / or industrial research experience is an asset.
Capable of independent research with a track record in research dissemination.
Prior teaching and supervision experience.
Excellent command of UX research and design methods.
presentation and argumentation skills; team player skills; ability to adapt to the contexts and hierarchical / strategical levels of different stakeholders.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to efficiently and timely interact with and report to various stakeholders.
Ability to proceed autonomously and take responsibility.
Excellent oral and written command in English; any additional relevant language being an asset (French, German, Luxembourgish).
