Team Leader Depositary Operations Oversight (m / f)

Role / Department :

  • Supervises Depositary Oversight team
  • Performs Depositary Oversight tasks according to the set procedures in accordance with Regulations and the requirements of each fund’s constitutional documentation.
  • Provides a high quality service to internal and external clients.
  • Ensures that regulatory deadlines and service level agreements are met.
  • The key responsibilities of the role include :

  • Supervises Depositary Oversight team of analysts and senior analysts.
  • Motivates team and contributes to positive team atmosphere
  • Responsible for allocating and monitoring workflow.
  • Provides technical support to team and solves complex fund issues.
  • Main point of contact for client queries related to fund allocated to team.
  • Participate in projects within the section (eg integration, new regulations, process improvements and strategic direction).
  • Responsible for accurately maintaining all procedures for team.
  • As subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level.
  • Carry out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult.
  • Assist Team Leader and Department Head as necessary.
  • Give training to internal partners and focus on their development.
  • Skills / Qualifications :

  • Relevant experience in a managerial position within a Depositary function
  • Excellent communicator with proven leadership and organization skills
  • In-depth understanding of the Depositary function and applicable regulation
  • Past involvement in Depositary or Fund industry events is an advantage
