What you will really be doing Responsibility over the General Ledger of Luxembourg based entities, integrity of financial records Lead Monthly and / or Quarterly General Ledger closing process Monthly and / or Quarterly Audit file preparation for the entities in their area of responsibility, preparation of management accounts Timely production of statutory financial statements and other returns Participation in development of accounting processes and internal controls, documentation of policies, procedures and workflows for assigned areas of responsibility Monitoring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and other statutory requirements Preparing VAT returns and other taxation calculations together with Tax Counsel Liaison with external auditors, Tax advisors, authorities and other regulatory bodies Participation in various ad-
hoc projects Mentoring team members with regards to more complex accounting transactions Supporting the company’s mission, vision values and goals in the performance of daily activities Requirements 5-
7 years of experience as a qualified Accountant in a multinational company or as an External Auditor Ability to work on conflicting priorities, be proactive and self-
motivated Flexible and open-minded Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty Fluent in English, any other languages are an asset Excellent computer skills and solid understanding of accounting software principles Good attention to detail, self-
