Who are we looking for? We are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our growing team in our Luxembourg Office. This role is for someone who is self-motivated, professional and looking to gain exposure in a global workplace.
What is your role and your responsibilities? Compliance and Regulatory Matters Responsible for advising on regulatory matters impacting the Manco activities as an UCITS Man Co and AIFM Analyse the rules affecting the Management Company / AIFM business and monitor regulatory, and financial crime related legislative changes Partake and support the teams on the distribution of funds across all relevant jurisdictions Act as the liaison with the local authorities and regulators Collaborate with the Oversight teams to provide oversight of third parties Innovation Assist the Head of Compliance to develop the local compliance team taking on all responsibilities such as training, policies and procedures, Audits and reporting Develop a robust Compliance culture Consistently review the compliance policies and procedures to comply with relevant regulations Monitoring and identification of regulatory changes and implementation, as appropriate Reporting Assist the Head of Compliance to prepare relevant management information Assist with the drafting of the Compliance Monitoring Plan and compliance related documentation Perform operational incident and account reviews To ensure that Carne’s regulatory reporting requirements to the CSSF are met Preparation of regular and ad hoc reporting and MIs to fund boards, ManCo boards and regulators What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?
Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role; preferably in a Management Company University degree (or equivalent qualification) and ideally with the relevant Compliance or legal qualification The Compliance Officer will need to be familiar with the legal and regulatory requirements under Luxembourg law for UCITS, AIFMD including but not limited to 2010 Law, 2013 Law, CSSF 10-04, CSSF 18 / 698, ESMA guidelines on remuneration, AIFMD, UCITS, GDPR, etc.
Sound grasps of local legal and regulatory framework (AML, CTF, Fraud etc.) Experience of AIFM and UCITS products What competencies do you require?
