Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) comprises of Prime Now, 3P, Fresh, Pantry and Treasure Truck’s operations. The team is looking to hire a Senior Manager to lead the Program Management efforts of the Prime Now 3P Business.
The role has an EU scope spanning across a rapidly expanding network of 3P stores (100+ stores) and a growing number of merchants (10+).
This candidate will also be leading and managing the relationship and strategy with Business Development, Field Operations, Tech, Legal, Delivery Experience and Customer Service teams while shaping how customer experience in grocery and food delivery is enhanced through our third party partners.
The initiatives that this candidate will lead would form the first of its kind in Amazon for ultra-fast third party operations.
Additionally, he / she will be leading a team that will create the next generation of deep dive and performance metrics visibility tools for GSF.
This leader will also coordinate the design and execution of strategic initiatives to expand and improve profitability in the grocery business by reducing Concessions through quality improvement initiatives and driving policy changes in partnership with Merchants, CS and Business teams.
This org comprises of a team of Senior and Junior Program Managers dedicated to each of the following problem spaces : a) EU expansion planning, b) Tech roadmap liaison, c) under-the-roof efficiency process standardization and improvement, d) physical throughput capacity improvement and assessment;
and, e) Quality and availability improvement program. This role is fit for someone with a strong track record of delivering results, dealing with a wide ambiguous space and crafting out of box solutions that can be started small and scrappy but scaled up to meet scope of the growing GSF org.
They need to be able to earn trust of and influence multiple retail and tech leaders, through clear articulation of their own arguments.

Responsibilities include :
Lead a team of Program Managers to plan and enable expansion as well as to innovate for continuous improvement in quality and efficiency metrics across the Prime Now 3P business.
Benchmark best practices both internally and externally to search for best-in-class operational solutions; challenge and alter current processes where needed
Drive global standardization of processes and reporting
Use metrics and true performance to help our ultra-fast grocery delivery strategy, building program roadmaps and management mechanisms to drive prioritization of high impact projects and provide visibility to senior leadership.
Producing detailed analysis enabling decision making, influencing other teams and Senior leadership on shaping the future of the operational model for this specific EU business
Providing country level support to meet and exceed customer experience and cost per shipment metrics
Designing and implementing relevant, useful and actionable metrics and reports to measure and drive performance
Developing and executing plans for the launch of new features, incorporating service and cost strategies.
Identifying opportunities and impact through detailed analysis and by partnering with internal as well as external stakeholders
Creating an Ops Integration roadmap inclusive of prioritization of activities
Designing solutions to unique EU 3P challenges (e.g. They Pick, DSP, Merchant specific performance issues)

MBA and Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or other technical field from an accredited university or 3+ years Amazon experience
5+ years’ of total work experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills complemented with the ability to problem solve independently.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel is required.
Prior experience leading program management and operations teams
Prior experience or use of Lean / Six Sigma
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL, Visual Basic or other programming languages are a plus
Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
