Fund Accountancy position within a leading Real Estate Investment Firm with coverage in the EMEA market. This opportunity provides the successful candidate with experience to working within the fund giving them holistic responsibilities and exposure across the inner workings of a RE firm.
Previous in-house Real Estate or Private Equity experience is preferred.Responsibilities : - Review quarterly / annual Luxembourg tier entity consolidation reporting packs received from service providers -
Prepare annual Luxembourg tier entity statutory financial statements (Lux GAAP) - Review quarterly / annually entity operating budgets received from the project teams -
Review and analyze monthly project draw requests and prepare the Global Draw - Assist in the preparation of regular liquidity reports for the Fund(s) -
Coordination with external suppliers such as legal advisors, auditors and accounting service provider - Prepare Luxembourg regulatory reporting as may be required -
Assist with the preparation of the capital calls and distribution notices for the investors - Asist with the preparation and calculation of Fund level fees -
Run quarterly subconsolidations to be included in the Fund consolidated Financial Statements. General ledger : - Prepare and / or review of accounting entries and data entry for Luxembourg tier entities and ensure the -
completeness of the bookings - Prepare and / or review of monthly bank reconciliations - Maintain general ledger chart of accounts for entities to ensure completeness, accuracy and consistency -
Prepare and reconcile inter-company accounts - Run month end closing procedures - Quarterly upload of the Luxembourg tier trial balances to the consolidation software Audits (Under supervision of the Controller) : -
Prepare information requested by the auditors and promptly answer queries for audits, as needed - Notify auditors of potential audit issues, material transactions which occurred during fiscal year, and any -
subsequent events. - Answer questions and resolve any issues that may arise Other functions : - Complete special projects as directed by the Controller -
Act as a team member with all employees of the management staff - Comply with all internal policies and procedures - Provide assistance to Controller and other personnel, as requested -
Assume additional responsibilities as delegated by the Controller Skills : - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to understand financial and corporate structures - Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and excellent analytical skills -
Work experience : - 1 - 3 years of experience in industry with an international outlook or a public accounting firm - Real estate experience is preferred although not a strict requirement Education Requirements : -
Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university or equivalent - Pursuing ACCA or similar certification would be desired
