Our client has an online execution platform used by a variety of professional and institutional clients for a range of trading including, but not limited to, FX, Fixed Income, Equity and Listed Derivatives products.

They are looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Manager that will be heavily focused on regulatory requirements that can look to protect client money and improve client service standards.

This will involve working with CSSF, understanding regulatory requirements for Luxembourg including COREP compliance and reporting.

An understanding of accounting for Securities will help you take a leading role in ad-hoc hoc financial analysis and projects which will give you exposure to a broad stakeholder network.

This is a really exciting role if you are analytical, curious, want to create a controlled environment and lead process improvements related to asset protection and regulatory reporting.

In this role, your responsibilities will include :

You will manage the financial controlling functions as they relate to regulatory reporting and COREP for the newly established Luxembourg office

Understanding the Luxembourg regulatory frameworks, being able to apply them to the brokerage trading platform to provide asset protection

Making sure all policies and procedures are updated and any new regulatory requirements are thoroughly reviewed, business requirements gathered and correctly updated (in policies and procedures and operationally)

Maintain robust controls and processes across all regulatory work

Working with the CSSF to ensure correct reporting and a broad stakeholder network including accounting, finance and other business lines where required

To be successful in this role you will require :

Master / Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or similar, with a professional accounting qualification considered a plus (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).

A background working for a Broker would be ideal, and / or experience of working in a PFS environments and having thorough knowledge of Financial Regulations such as MIFID II and other Luxembourg Regulation's .

5-10 years of experience in a similar position, experience of trading platform background with COREP and / or regulatory reporting / CFO experience advantageous

A strong understanding of accounting is a must have

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team and across varied senior stakeholder network - including CSSF.
