The Network / Security Engineer (L1) focuses on first line support for standard and low complexity incidents and maintains the Networking environmental and monitoring equipment.

What you'll be doing MAIN DUTIES / KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES The Network / Security Engineer is proactive in identifying, investigating and resolving technical incidents and problems and restoring service to clients by managing incidents to resolution.

His / her primary objective is to ensure zero missed service level agreement conditions. + Ensure that assigned IT Infrastructure at the client site is configured, installed, tested and operational.

Perform necessary checks, apply monitoring tools and respond to alerts. + Identify problems and errors prior to or when they occur and log all such incidents in a timely manner with the required level of detail.

  • Be a part of IT Network projects and operating on infrastructures : leveraging tools and processes to better resolve any IT incidents.
  • Produce breach and other reports to identify failures and short comings. + Focus on second line support for low complexity incidents.
  • Proactively offer improvements of operations in order to better meet the SLA standards EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS + Higher degree in IT or Computer Science.
  • A first relevant experience in the field + Knowledge or experience of IT Networks : + Installing, Configuration, Routing and Switching + A keen interest in Infrastructure + Knowledge and certifications in Cisco SDA and Cisco ASA are considered an asset + Knowledge of Cloud systems (AWS, Azure) is also an asset + Knowledge or experience of IT Security : + Checkpoint + Palo Alto, F5 + You demonstrate : + problem analysis and solution formulation skills.
  • learning and service orientation. + excellent attention to detail. + ability to adapt, to change and to think innovatively.
  • good verbal and written communication ability. + good planning and time management + Languages : + English is mandatory.
