To support our growth, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Data Scientist that combines mathematical models with large amounts of data to increase customer satisfaction and efficiency.
The position in EU Supply Chain execution is aimed at Data Science talents with a Master degree and 2+ years of experience (or Bachelor +4 years experience or PhD) and will expose you to state-
of-the-art data technology, Machine Learning models, and hands-on optimization of amazon’s Supply Chain. The position will provide you with an unforgettable working experience in a fast-

In this position, you will :
Plan and shape EU inventory placement strategy to improve SC performance for our customers
Build reports, dashboards and visualizations to drive insights and automatically detect defects
Create models from large data to uncover patterns and derive business insights and new opportunities
Develop technology using AWS data pipelines to automate manual processes
Communicate technical results and get constant feedback from customers and / or senior management
Partner with software teams on tools, standardization, and system improvement.
Master’s (Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering) with two years of experience or a Bachelors with four years of experience or PhD.
Experience in SQL, R, Python, or another scripting language; command line usage; experience in Java
Track record of diving into data to discover hidden patterns and of conducting error / deviation analysis
Knowledge of various machine learning techniques and key parameters that affect their performance
Evidence of using of relevant statistical measures such as confidence intervals, significance of error measurements, development and evaluation data sets, etc. in data analysis projects
Experience in creating data driven visualizations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Previous experience in a ML or data scientist role with a large technology company
4+ years of experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, data mining, and analytics
Experience with SCRUM / Agile Development
