International Compliance team is looking for a data ninja to join an exciting team defining a global roadmap to design and deliver impactful solutions for Amazon retail team World Wide.

This role will be focussed on helping our Product Trust team maximise their success.

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence Engineer with a passion to work with complex problems to create the best user experience for all stakeholders.

You are passionate about providing insights from data and have experience in working with large data sets. You are organized, efficient and insist on the highest standards.

You are an independent self-starter who thrives on owning projects. You will be required to make important decisions on the technical structure of the project from data pipelines, data models and roadmaps.

Key job responsibilities

Explore Customer Sentiment data from a range of sources

Create automated reporting and dashboards to allow colleagues to explore data and look for issues

Create robust data quality mechanisms for quality control ahead of sharing

Look for opportunities to simplify and automate redundant processes

Translate the requirements of the stakeholders into technical requests to the partner tech teams

Contribute to the success and mechanisms of the wider BIE team

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field

3+ years of relevant work experience with ETL development, data modeling, data warehousing and applying analytics

Experience with SQL using databases like MySQL, Redshift or similar

Experience in data visualization tools using Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, Power BI or similar

Strong self-starter, confident to operate relatively autonomously

You have strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skill.

Good analytical skills, a passion for metrics and figures, you have very high attention to details

Familiarity with AWS solutions such as EC2, Dynamo DB, S3, Redshift, and RDS

Expert in tuning SQL scripts

Experience with Python
