Job description : Your team FundPartner Solutions (Europe) ("FPS Europe"), a Pictet Group company set up in January 2012, offers its clients a first-rate fund administration service and, in anticipating future regulatory challenges, positions itself as a management company dedicated to third-party fund clients.

FPS Europe is a Luxembourg UCITS and AIFM management company subject to Chapter 15 of the Luxembourg law of 17 December 2010 on undertakings for collective investment, as well as the Law of 12 July 2013.

FPS Europe covers all the tasks related to fund administration, including fund accounting and NAV calculation, risk management, transfer agent, distribution and domiciliary services, together with investment controlling and a Director's Office.

In doing so, it offers the entire range of services related to aspects of risk, governance and regulations.

The FundPartner Solutions (Europe) SA Transfer Agent team has embarked on an exciting development programme to enable it to tackle future innovations and expectations.

To assist with this change programme, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager with a good knowledge of the fund industry, including substantial AML / KYC expertise, for our FundPartner Solutions Division in Luxembourg, where you will work on the Transfer Agency team.

The successful candidate will become a key point of contact for our business and technical stakeholders for all TA-related matters with a focus on AML issues.

The role will be based in Luxembourg and the holder of the post will report directly to the Deputy Head of Transfer Agent.

Your role Working with business and IT stakeholders as well as our internal and external clients, your main responsibilities as Project Manager will be :

  • To follow up on delivery of the TA roadmap through the projects assigned to you; this follow-up will include planning, budget, specification, change management and coordination with all stakeholders.
  • To set up and facilitate communication and discussion with our clients and other departments of the Pictet Group and to exchange and collaborate with them and propose resolutions on data (and systems) problems, issues and change requests.
  • To assume ownership of the project assigned to you, which will involve promptly raising any issues that may arise and communicating regularly with senior management.
  • To prepare and present project boards to all stakeholders and senior management.
  • To coordinate / execute acceptance testing in support of the business.
  • To contribute to architecture and design decisions that have an impact on fund data and applications.
  • To enforce project management good practices throughout our existing team. Your profile Qualifications and experience (mandatory) :
  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Management.
  • Experience gained through :
  • a similar role
  • an operational role in the transfer agent domain
  • a consultant background (applications from Big4 companies will be favourably received)
  • Good knowledge of the fund industry.
  • Good understanding of Luxembourg fund regulations and particularly AML requirements.
  • Accustomed to being in direct contact with sophisticated and demanding clients.Specific knowledge :
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience of working with Temenos’ Multifonds TA will be deemed an advantage.
  • Knowledge of some BI tools (Tableau or BusinessObjects) will be considered a plus. Other skills :
  • Fluent in French and English. Any other language would be an asset.
  • Demonstrable experience in change management, including excellent communication skills.
  • A convincing speaker with an ability to summarise complex issues and tailor the message to your audience.
  • Self-motivated, independent, flexible and well organised.
  • As a strong team player you work transparently and are motivated by the team’s collective success.
  • You enjoy rising to a challenge and working outside your comfort zone.
