Your area of responsibility :

  • Further development and maintenance of the various analysis pipelines and databases for next generation sequencing data.
  • Systematic implementation of algorithms for characterization of genomic, transcriptomic, and microbiome data.
  • We look forward to :

  • A degree in the life sciences or computer science with a relevant focus on bioinformatics.
  • Sound knowledge of Linux systems and programming with, for example, Java, Python, Perl or R.
  • Pleasure in interdisciplinary work as well as in the processing of scientific issues.
  • Experience in the analysis of NGS data is desirable
  • An independent, dedicated and reliable work ethic
  • Good knowledge of German and English
