Head of Shareholder and Distribution Services Europe We are looking for a well-versed professional and skillful team manager to lead our European Shareholder and Distribution Services team.
In this role you will plan and direct the oversight activities of our transfer agents across Europe for mutual as well as alternative funds.
You will ensure that our distribution channels around the globe get the operational support required to ignite growth and sales success.
Furthermore, you will represent the function in various cross-functional projects and initiatives. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-
to-day activities of the team located in four locations across Europe with regard to the take-up of new mutual fund distributors and institutional fund buyers.
This includes amongst others the setup of distribution and purchase agreements, account opening and order processing.
Build and maintain an efficient infrastructure for mutual fund distribution in the European markets.
Closely collaborate with the Business Development function ensuring a smooth client onboarding process across Europe.
Supervise the relationship management to external transfer agents of fund ranges across Europe, ensuring excellent service levels within the defined provider governance.
Act as first escalation point and senior expert for internal and external partners regarding transfer agency-related activities and issues.
Coordinate the maintenance of contractual agreements, service level agreements, operating memoranda and paying agent agreements and review and sign off the documents from a functional perspective.
Support the distribution of Allianz Global Investors' global umbrella, a Luxembourg domiciled Fund SICAV being registered in 30+ countries world-wide.
Take care of the performance management process for the team.
Identify and address training and development needs and encourage an environment of employee participation, teamwork and open communication.
Key Requirements / Skills / Experience Experienced team leader with a strong track record within asset management operations, in particular in Transfer Agent Services and Distribution Services with a European or global reach Ability to deal with internal and external clients at senior levels and to develop strong working relationships with key partners Significant knowledge of all transfer agent-
related activities, including a strong experience in handling and management of distribution and purchase agreements Good knowledge of the entire asset management value chain An enthusiastic and inspiring personality, focused on achieving results and developing creative and targeted solutions Excellent project management skills Willingness to travel, cultural sensitivity and a high degree of business ethics Appropriate industry qualifications Fluency in English, knowledge of German or French would be beneficial Advanced proficiency in MS Office, programming skills are considered as an asset We offer an attractive, performance-
