Description : The Fund Accounting Department provides fund administration and valuation services to a variety of fund structures including mainstream, alternative, money markets, hedge funds and funds of private equity funds and a variety of asset types including equities, bonds, listed and unlisted derivatives.
The Department is responsible for the Net Asset Value calculation.
The Department serves multiple fund structures like AIF’s and Cayman Funds.
The Fund Accounting Department interacts on a daily basis with the rest of NBL organisation, especially with Transfer and Paying Agency Department, the Client Support and Depositary Banking Divisions.
In order to support our team, we are looking for a Fund Accountant for a fixed-term contract of one year.
Your main tasks will be to : Prepare funds valuations (collection of work documents within deadlines and other related tasks) Reconcile and control of the fund transactions via the journal entries Escalate of records issues to Fund Accounting Management Ensure the timely and accurate production of NAV’s (Net Asset Values) as per their NAV’s frequency Produce various checking reports Apply department guidelines and procedures Job requirements : Min.
Bac +3 in Accounting / Finance Min.
