The neuropsychologist that is working within the pdp team will work together with Prof. Dr. Rejko Krüger (leader of the project), two project managers and a secretary.
The neuropsychologist is responsible for the inclusion / exclusion of people within the program, to do the risk factor profile assessment and to propose a tailor-
made set of different measures in order to prevent or at least delay dementia. The neuropsychologist is the main person in contact with the pdp participants, but also with the voucher partners and the treating physicians.
In more detail, the successful candidate would need to be able to fulfil the following tasks :
Perform neuropsychological assessments in patients and healthy subjects
Develop and optimize work methods for participant recruitment and clinical evaluation
Develop tests to evaluate functions in different neurodegenerative pathologies (e.g. dementia, Parkinson’s disease)
Interview patients according to study case report form (CRF)
Acquire and store clinical data based on paper-CRF and eCRF
Setup and optimization of workflows for patient recruitment
Write scientific publications and grant applications
Promote the field of neuropsychology scientifically and clinically by linking scientific advances with the respective implications in the field.
Engagement in fundraising to gain further financial support by public and private funders.
Networking with researchers and stakeholders in fundamental and clinical research

Master 2 in neuropsychology
Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written : English, French and German, and oral communication skills in Luxembourgish are a must.
Knowledge of any other language will be seen as an asset.
Ability to adapt and effectively organize. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
As a self-starter, working with minimum supervision, you will take ownership of your tasks and take pride in providing a high level of service.
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong communication skills as well as solid stakeholder management skills
Practical experience in healthcare / science will be seen as asset.
High level competency in MS Office
