Responsibilities You will be responsible for handling significant cross-border litigation matters, regulatory and criminal investigations as well as managing the application of legal rules governing garnishments, summonses, bankruptcies in order to protect the bank against disputes, contestations and risk of losses.
The position is based in Luxembourg.
You will report to the Deputy Head of Litigation Department What will you do? Analyze, prepare and manage litigation matters within different jurisdictions Assess the relevant legal approach to be taken in order to successfully managed litigation matters (reimbursement programs, transactions, over-
indebtedness etc.) or legal procedures (real estate foreclosures or forced sales, seizures & transfers on wages, guarantees, pledges, bank guarantees etc.
in collaboration with our legal or non-legal intermediaries (lawyers, notaries, bailiffs, recovery companies) Assist the management in adapting the bank’s procedures to legislative changes, new products Must Have Requirements You have : A Master’s Degree in Law Proven experience in litigation Interest in complex legal issues A good communicator with strong interpersonal skills You are : Known for hitting deadlines and are result-
