About the Role :

For our Ferrero Head Quarters in Luxembourg we are currently looking for a Distributor & Commercial Excellence Manager.

Main Tasks :

Implementing Distributor Management Blueprint

  • Ensuring Distributors in each market are selected based on Size and Skills and Potential for Mutuality , using the Distributor Selection Tool;
  • Ensuring Distribution contracts signed in each market is compliant with Group standards (adapted to local laws);
  • Developing and sharing best practices for managing Distributors;
  • Leading the annual collection and analysis of Distributors in key markets, and developing a clear action plan for remediation;
  • Supporting deployment and roll out of new training modules across the Geographies in scope.
  • Delivering of RTM Projects

  • Leading Area support of RTM projects, from design to delivery;
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to provide strategic and operative input to align project objectives with Group / Area strategy;
  • Working closely with BU Sales Directors And Cluster Managers to effectively monitor implementation of project deliverables.
  • Developing and deploying of commercial best practices

  • Identifying market opportunities to improve business performance from a commercial standpoint together with Sales Directors and Cluster Managers;
  • Assessing and share best practices in terms of channel & customer management, in-store execution excellence and trade marketing activities;
  • Ensuring deployment of Group commercial principles and way of doing business, by assessing commercial policies in order to optimise investments.
  • Designing and deploying specific strategic guidance in channel management

  • Identifying key channel insights and needs to improve channel understanding cross Area;
  • Assessing Selling and serving models and generate recommendations to improve efficiency;
  • Defining strategic commercial levers and generate transversal guidelines to harmonize ways of working and overall improve sales effectiveness;
  • Tracking Channel performance and drive best practice sharing.
  • Who we are looking for :

    Profile :

  • BSc. or MSc in Business Administration, Management or related;
  • Previous experience in CPG Markets (FMCG) & Trade Channels, preferably Confectionary / Snack Foods Market;
  • Experience in operating in senior strategic and / or operational Sales or Trade Marketing roles;
  • 8+ years operational experience in a Sales or Trade marketing function within FMCG;
  • Strong influencing and proven international leadership skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. cross functional working, team management and client persuasion);
  • Ability to think forward;
  • Advanced project management & presentation skills;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Understanding of Retail trading dynamics;
  • Strong financial acumen;
  • Experience with Distributor management;
  • Experience with transformational projects is a plus;
  • Strong route to market understanding.
  • Languages :

  • Fluent in English, any other language is a plus.
  • IT Skills :

  • Excellent skills in MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel).
