We are looking for a talented senior attorney to support our rapidly growing and evolving Consumer and Operations businesses.

You will serve as the primary EU lawyer responsible for counselling the business on a broad range of regulatory and compliance matters, particularly in the areas of workplace environmental health and safety and dangerous goods storage, handling and transport.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Corporate Counsel, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day advice on regulations, monitoring and advising the business of upcoming regulatory changes.

You will be also in charge of developing and improving compliance policies and procedures and working cross-functionally with technology teams to implement automated solutions.

The role is based in our European Headquarter, Luxembourg. Some travel may be required.

We are looking for candidates who are innovative, progressive, extremely hands-on, and highly customer-obsessed professionals.

Developing innovative solutions to novel legal questions is part of our daily business.

  • Outstanding academic qualification (EU preferred)
  • At least 10 year’s post-qualification legal experience with some international law firm experience
  • Previous experience with working with regulators
  • Strong transactional background dealing with commercial contracts
  • High degree of independence, initiative and decisiveness but also desire to be challenged and think outside the box
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to act as Business Partner to Senior Management
  • Great business judgment especially in ambiguous situations
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent English language skills including the ability to draft and negotiate contracts
  • Experience with workplace safety or compliance legal matters
  • Knowledge of any other European language such as German, French, Italian, Spanish or Polish
  • Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional and cross-jurisdictional team
