We are looking for an entrepreneurial, analytical, and highly motivated Senior Vendor Manager to join Amazon Private Brands Team.
Successful candidate possesses superb business judgment, with a track record of successful negotiations, team collaboration and strong analytical acumen.
The position is based our EU headquarters in Luxembourg and involves liaising with stakeholders across the globe.
Primary responsibilities of this role will include :
Delivering top and bottom line growth for the category, analyzing key P&L metrics, implementing actions to improve product performance and supply chain efficiency, and managing end-to-end product lifecycle
Negotiating with and onboarding vendors to add selection in line with our tenets; negotiating product costs and legal contracts
Understanding market trends and building business cases for new product opportunities
Partnering with Retail teams across EU, Private Brands team in US and Sourcing Teams in China
5+ years experience in buying, account management, project or product management, financial analysis and / or marketing
University degree required, ideally in business or analytical discipline
Proven track record of managing and executing large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering and modeling, problem solving, and communicating recommendations
High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
Extremely strong written and verbal English language communication skills
Proficiency in Excel
Proven analytical skills and highly numerate
Fluency in another European language
Online / retail experience
Vendor / category management experience
