Head of Employee Technology

Luxembourg / IT Global IT / Permanent - full timePPRO is looking for an experienced Employee Technology leader to continue building the team.

Your team will lead the implementation of tools & automation, the security of all our end points, and the enablement of digital workplaces.

You will lead the buildout of tools that increases the business speed in collaboration with multiple teams across the company.

You will implement tools to secure and manage our endpoints, while maintaining a frictionless user experience for PPRO users.

You will manage the Productivity Service and Support providing support and guidance to PPRO users and making sure they receive the best productivity experience.

The Employee Technology organisation provides the internal tools and services to keep PPRO users efficient and productive while maintaining its security.

We manage PPRO laptops, endpoint security, identity management, company-wide SaaS productivity tools, helpdesk support and corporate networking.

Our services are used by every PPRO user, everywhere. The role will report to the CTO and can be based in Luxembourg with teams across Berlin, Munich, Singapore, London and Sao Paulo.

A technical problem solver at heart, you know how to leverage new technologies to solve transformational business challenges.

In addition, the role requires developing partnerships with teams across multiple locations, skill sets, and backgrounds.

As such, we are seeking a leader with great communication skills and a naturally inclusive leadership style in addition to a solid foundation of technical, analytical and end-to-end troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the engineering and operations of Employee technology, including employee devices, productivity tools, corporate networking and office hardware.
  • Unify multiple platforms across multiple entities
  • Partner with key stakeholders (security, compliance, business partners, executives) to develop solutions that business teams need
  • Manage and grow a team of Service, Support and Network Engineers
  • Work with technology and solution providers to select technologies suppliers and negotiate contractual and financial terms
  • Demonstrate operational excellence in everything we do
  • Oversight and reporting of controls such as access, change-management and incident response to the Authorised Management of our regulated entities
  • Leadership and People

  • A humble and inclusive leadership style is essential
  • Track record of attracting and developing talent at different stages of their careers
  • Experience creating a collaborative community and nuanced understanding of hiring and building diverse teams
  • Thought leadership and influence of indirect teams through communication, collaboration, documentation, KPIs and training
  • Strong business acumen and ability to articulate tradeoffs of deeply technical problems to a broad audience
  • Experience interacting with customers, executives, and business leaders
  • Experience with managing external partners and suppliers, including responsibility for planning and budgets
  • Experience working in a financially regulated environment
  • Experience in managing distributed teams (local and remote) would be a bonus
  • Technical

  • A track record for delivering a successful Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Service Management
  • A technical background in either systems administration, network engineering or Infrastructure
  • Understanding of architecture principles such as security, scalability, reliability, cost optimization and performance efficiency
  • Engineering experience of infrastructure technologies such as Google Workspace, Azure, AWS etc.
  • Experience providing corporate, employee technology in a cloud native organisation
