Senior Business Application Support / Senior Technical Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Technical Analyst to Solution, design, develops, and provides production support to our business partners, mainly Front Office FX Desks , Operations and Risk teams .

Collaboration with business stakeholders and IT development team .

Daily Responsibilities :

Deliver enhancement requests (analysis, development and unit tests) and provide Kondor Suite Third Level support, such as :

  • Resolving end-user support issues using enterprise-wide standards and tools.
  • Providing advice and expertise to projects and other change-related activities such as testing, technical systems analysis or requirements , resolving end users support issues using RBC tools
  • Third level support to traders for problems or new requests related to trades, rates, curves, PnL, Risk, positions, and reporting.
  • Query optimization and performance improvement including archiving and use of Asemon UI.
  • Developmenta activities

  • Build open report , CustomWindows
  • Modify K+TP configuration ( validation , Swifts )
  • Design interfaces
  • Develops, codes, documents programs of average to high complexity using different languages.
  • Technical analysis :

  • Analyze on Business Requirements and build solution Requirements document
  • Gather signoff from al stakeholders
  • Ability to build Proof Of Concepts demonstration
  • Writes unit test plans and provides coordination and support of testing using different tools.
  • Organizes and participates in walkthrough reviews of all technical specifications, programs and unit test plans.
  • Documentation , such as :

  • Preparing User Guides, Release Notes and unit tests
  • Application usage optimisation :

  • Implementing better ways to use applications such as : archiving, cross-training, exploring existing but unused functionality and reducing manual workload
  • Day-to-day vendor management for 3rd party applications, if applicable :

  • Following up on open issues
  • Change Management activities, such as :

  • Change request & coordination
  • Release management
  • The Senior Business Support is primarily responsible for providing functional analysis and support with the ability to trouble-

    shoot and resolve complex or transversal requests.

    The Senior Business Support also provides coaching, advice and assistance to more junior members of the team in order to help build their own competencies and actively contributes to application usage optimisation for the business application.

    In addition and at the request of the Quality Assurance (QA) team, the Senior Business Support may fulfill the role of a QA Anlayst for the application and be required to :

  • Design and / or execute test cases using the guidelines and methodlogy as defined by QA globally
  • Skills & Requirements

    The cadidate must have a proven track record of previous experience as Technical support for End Users is required :

  • Good knowledge of business
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in development or similar role
  • Sound knowledge of project management activities and governance
  • Good understanding of IT systems & environments
  • Sound financial industry knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, trouble-shoot, solve problems and implement appropriate solutions
  • Good English Language ( written , spoken )
  • Kondor product expertize ( database schema, processes, customization, confiuguration). K+TP and KGR will be a Plus.
  • SQL, troubleshooting and performance expertize
  • E-Trading platforms experience ( Account, Users , ) such as Bloomberg, MarkitSrv, FXALL, ET etc
  • Very good understanding of Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Certifications : any Kondor, CFA, RiskManagement certification is a plus .
  • Nice to Have Skills : Architecture background
