Who we’re looking for

The Rebates Analyst position reports to the Senior RebatesAnalyst within the Finance department. In the past 10 years, the SchrodersGroup Finance function has expanded the role of the Rebates Operations team inLuxembourg, creating a global centre of competence for the calculation,accounting, reporting and payment of rebates to our Distribution network globally.

The Rebates Analyst provides rebate services to clients in60 Distribution markets with investments in 15 different currencies in 10 funddomiciles, dealing with a complexity of matters and increasing volumes ofcalculations.

We are looking for a Rebates Analystto join our team! We are bringing together people from many cultures withdifferent work experiences and perspectives over operational and organisationalchallenges.

Whatyou’ll do

  • Interpretingfinancial terms from legal contracts and setting them up in the rebates engine
  • Setting upand maintaining client and product structures including payment details
  • Performingrebate calculations including manual rebate reconciliations between client owncalculations and internal Schroders results, as and when required
  • Answeringclient and sales office queries arriving in the team’s mailbox
  • Providinganalysis and commentary to Finance teams and supporting other client facingteams
  • Assisting inrolling out departmental initiatives and projects (streamlining processes,roll-out of systems, take-on of new locations, etc.)
  • Maintainingaccurate procedures whilst escalating any issues to the line manager
  • The knowledge,experience and qualifications you need

  • Bachelordegree in Economics or Finance
  • At least 2years of similar or relevant experience in Asset Management business isrequired
  • StrongEnglish, with at least one additional European language (e.g. French, German,etc.)
  • Excellentcomputer skills (advanced knowledge of MS Excel)
  • The knowledge,experience and qualifications that will help
