This role is designed to support the Country Operating Unit Leads in delivering a coordinated strategy by proactively establishing the vision and direction for commercial excellence type activity : supporting the OU’s sales force to maintain and increase market share.
The role includes close collaboration within Commercial Excellence, Finance, and Marketing functions.
In this role you will work closely with the OU leaders in this region and will be responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, and execution of the OU strategy including the following activities :
Sales force effectiveness
Sales, business processes, and governance
Customer relationship, management account segmentation, and targeting
Territory alignment and all other key strategic initiatives to drive disciplined strategic execution
A Day in the Life
Smooth operation of all enablement functions within the sales force while supporting the development and improvement of business processes
Management of segmentation, targeting processes, leading and coordinating territory design along with target activities
Implementation, tracking, and support of the sales force effectiveness, governance process (e.g. performance reviews), and implementation of compensation and incentives plans
Overall coordination responsibility and adoption drive of CRM system (Salesforce.com) and other sales enablement tools.
Use data-driven insights to identify organisational training needs and deliver coaching to increase the business acumen
Harmonisation of business metrics and analytics, leveraging support from reporting and analytics teams and commercial operations analysts to ensure data visibility
Must Haves
Degree in business or healthcare-related (medical or scientific) or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of commercial excellence or sales management experience in medical devices
Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated strong leadership and influence skills for all levels of business
Flexibility and ease of working with different cultures and situations
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to quantify the financial impact of decisions and identify key factors when making recommendations
Nice to Haves
Strong project management skills, therefore project management qualifications will be an advantage
