Tax and Financial Reporting Specialist- GermanSpeaker- Fixed Term(12 months) Associate-1 LuxembourgDESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES : Who we are looking for : Within theState Street Bank International GmbH, Luxembourg Branch in the Client Delivery Management division, a motivated team awaits youin the SCD Tax & Financial Reporting department, which preparesa wide range of tax and regulatory reports and evaluations for ourGerman client.
You will have client exposure and will need tocollaborate with our client, internal and external consultants andcolleagues from the Client Delivery Management team (also inGermany) as well as from other servicing departments.
The rolerequires energy flexibility curiosity and excellent interpersonaland communication skills. We want you to develop a deepunderstanding of fund tax figures and financial reporting todeliver optimal support to our clients.

completeness of fund list (newfunds, liquidated funds, name changes, FYE changes etc)
ensurethat distributions after FYE of funds are calculated &information are distributed in a timely manner
calculateliquidation / fusion of funds
WM Stammdaten : first timenotification, change of data, track publications and check ofcompleteness & correctness
get data from SCD via applicationsor SCD itself
proofreading of (half) year end reporting publication
setup of dividend evaluation or WHT reclaim percountry / year with regard of specific client requirements
communication to FA with information considering WHT reclaims paidto fund
overall process oversight / completeness of funds withFYE / event (distr., fusion, liquidations, interim distribution)
solve client inquiries (regarding past and future distributions(e.g. Forecast of distributions, tax related questions); WMStammdaten etc)
correction of past tax figure publications ( 5)with regard to Fokusbank WHT reclaims (calculation overview publication of revised amount)
communication ofresults of WHT reclaim evaluation with client
overview of WHTreclaims (filing reclaims, data collection, communication withclient, tax offices, third parties involved in process)
developand maintain procedures
analysing and evaluate projects forfuture tasks (for team) coordinate with internal and externalclients
knowledge of actual tax regime in order to give feedbackon questions
Ability to multitask, ensure accuracy and executeagainst pre-determined deadlines
Accountable for quality andaccuracy of results

Support the client serviceexperience for internal clients in coordination with A2 or above
analytical mind-set in order to handle large data / organizationalskills
deep knowledge of actual and past tax regime in order togive qualified feedback on questions / solve inquiries
Collaborate with internal and external groups (clients, auditor) toidentify, analyze and resolve issues
Maintain working knowledgeof processing activities (strong knowledge of overall ProcessOperating Model)

WHT reclaim knowledge (filing requirements percountry, involved parties, changing requirements) overview ofall open cases
