The Senior Finance Analyst will be a key member of the Unit Dosing divisional Finance team with responsibility to provide the Finance Director, the divisional leadership team and the divisional finance team with support and challenge on management reporting, financial planning and analysis, fixed cost management and creating control environment within all aspects of the Unit Dosing division.
Your responsibilities will be
Coordinate and consolidate management pack for the division. This will mean working with Site Finance Managers and Commercial finance manager on the monthly cycle to provide timely and accurate information
Develop, coordinate and improve continuously the budget and forecast processes for the division liaising with group finance to understand requirements and timetable.
Be the link between Site Finance and Commercial finance teams to understand sites P&L and drive actionable insight for the UD leadership team
Produce Ad-hoc business performance reporting on both Operations and Commercial
Develop financial models and proactively suggest cost saving initiatives
Act as the champion for the division for all internal controls subject matters and work with colleagues in the division to ensure action plans are in place and tracked
Coordinate and Consolidate Capex reporting working closely with Sites & Commercial teams escalating to UD Leadership team any gap in the plans
Be involved in strategic projects for the division to drive financial insight and discipline
Support the Heads of Departments (Non plant) with overheads cost management, controls and planning
Support the FD and Leadership Team to drive optimisation of working capital
Continually strive to make improvements in finance and wider business processes through automation, simplification, better insight or improved financial control
Introduce / review / improve control mechanisms in various divisional areas critical for business performance and continuity
Skills and education we are looking for
Degree in accounting,finance,business, or related field
Minimum 3 or 5 years’ experience in Finance domain
Knowledge of management accounting and standard costing mechanisms
Strong analytical skills without losing the total picture
Advanced knowledge in Excel and Powerpoint
SAP experience is a strong asset
Ability to work independently
Fluent in English, any other language is an advantage
