Greenfield is pleased to be working with a Real Estate investment trust based in Luxembourg city center. In order to support their local teams, they are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant Tax.

This position will support the Managing Director, Tax and Manager of Accounting, Luxembourg with tax compliance and reporting responsibilities of the Company’s European subsidiaries.

This position will be responsible for the preparation and / or coordination of all income and indirect tax compliance requirements for subsidiaries within ;

Other responsibilities will include aspects of international tax strategy and assistance with planning projects, gathering and analyzing information to support tax positions, participating in cross-functional projects, and tax audit support.

The person will overall be responsible for the Accounting for Income and Indirect ; The Role :

Assist with all direct and indirect tax matters in Luxembourg, Germany, UK, Spain, and other designated countries within Europe.

This includes preparation of memoranda, spreadsheets, and presentations for documentation and discussions of strategic tax projects.

Coordinate tax return preparation, manage tax audits and other correspondence with tax authorities.

Assist with legal entity simplification and governance efforts, as necessary.

Maintain strong communications with other business functions to understand events impacting the tax positions of the Company.

Monitor changes in tax legislation and international developments and analyze tax risks and opportunities for the Company.

Work with the Managing Director, Tax to develop appropriate responses and execute required actions.

Prepare statutory accounting calculations for tax expense and associated balance sheet accounts.

Your Profile :

Degree in Accounting, Tax, Business Administration or Finance

Minimum of 3 years of corporate tax experience working in a public accounting firm or corporate tax department

Knowledge of general tax accounting standards and framework governing income and indirect tax rules.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with all levels in the organization

Strong analytical, written communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to speak multiple languages preferred, especially German; strong English skills are required
