If your answers are yes, you could be the right candidate for a new German speaking marketing role in our lean and fast-

paced team. This role is based in our European HQ in Luxembourg reporting into the Head of EU Newsstand based in London.

We are seeking a proactive, analytical, customer-focused individual with strong communication skills to build on our marketing initiatives across all channels including email marketing, site merchandising, search, associate channels, push notifications and new program launches.

The successful candidate will speak English and German fluently with French language skills a significant bonus. You must be detail-

oriented and organized and capable of owning multiple projects at once, whilst taking short term issues and rapidly changing priorities in your stride.

The ideal candidate is able to handle detailed implementation work (including extracting and analyzing data, managing campaigns and creating publisher reports), whilst always considering opportunities to improve processes, build automation and come up with creative solutions for challenging problems.

We expect you to obsess over our customers, continuously monitoring their experience with our category to identify, scope and implement opportunities to both improve existing customer satisfaction and help new readers discover and enjoy magazines and newspapers on Amazon.


In this role, you will manage online sales and marketing activities for publishers across the EU Newsstand, working closely with the broader Marketing, Vendor Management, Program Management and Operations teams.

You may also own certain strategic vendor relationships, where marketing is a key element. Your responsibilities include :

  • Taking ownership of existing engagement campaigns and making continuous improvements to increase efficiency and productivity;
  • Building new outbound marketing programs based on targeting key customer segments to meet our ambitious growth goals by acquiring, converting, retaining and winning back customers in multiple locales across Europe;
  • Contributing to the development of, and executing global CX improvements including launching new products, features and functionalities;
  • Extracting and analyzing data to measure and optimize the performance of these new and existing marketing programs;
  • Managing certain strategic supplier relationships to drive sales and margin plus ensure the operational health of the accounts;
  • Running sales reports and creating publisher decks to both present sales performance and introduce new opportunities to drive strategic vendors’ businesses with Amazon;
  • Identifying selection gaps and completing competitor and customer analysis to ensure our programs are meeting and exceeding customer expectations;
  • Partner with product and technology teams to build a roadmap and execute projects that lead to customer communication and engagement opportunities.
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree
  • Professional experience / internship in a relevant field
  • Relationship building and management skills
  • Strong data management and analytical skills (Excel)
  • Planning, prioritization and time-management skills
  • Ability to communicate efficiently both internally and externally
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Native German language skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Ability to learn new systems and tools quickly
  • Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • French language skills
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience in online marketing, marketing communications, product management, vendor management, and / or consumer products and services
  • Experience using analytical specific tools such as Google Analytics, SQL or HTML
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Marketing, Commerce, Business Administration or similar field is preferred
