We are looking for a talented Traffic Manager focused on SEO / SEM to join our diverse Amazon Devices team in Europe.

As the ideal candidate, in this role you will have the opportunity to develop marketing strategies to drive demand and new customer acquisition across multiple traffic channels.

This person will drive the understanding of trends in traffic performance and work closely with the global Product Management and local Category and Marketing teams and take on regular reporting up to Senior Management.

This person will build, implement, and analyze marketing programs that promote our lineup of Echo, Fire, Kindle, and Home Security products on Amazon websites in Europe.

We are looking for someone to develop a healthy obsession with extracting patterns from ambiguous and voluminous amounts of data to provide recommendations and the implementation of key initiatives.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, strong attention to detail, high-calibre analytical ability, and at ease working in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities who strives to answer business / marketing questions, operates independently, and works across functional boundaries.

This person must also enjoy being a creative contributor and thrive in working in a start-up environment.

This role covers the following key areas :

  • Drive customer acquisition through key traffic initiatives, such as Search Engine Optimization and Marketing, Social Media and Display Advertising, Affiliate programs, and Outbound marketing communications.
  • Supporting the digital products merchandising and product management on strategic demand generation initiatives.
  • Executing traffic-driving efforts for large-scale product launches and promotional activities, tracking tasks and dependencies across multiple teams.
  • Analyzing traffic patterns and optimizing channels against the relevant KPIs in the customer acquisition funnel. Auditing and analyzing Amazon’s website, analytics and crawl data, identifying issues, finding root-cause, and experimenting with solutions at scale in order to improve SEO performance.
  • Report on the strategy, inputs and outputs, and document and share learnings with stakeholders.
  • Conducting experiments, using rigorous approaches and measurement methods (A / B testing, statistical methods) and proving their effectiveness.
  • Identifying strategic opportunities and prioritizing them against other tactical actions to achieve a balance of short-term and long-term performance.

  • Master’s degree or MBA.
  • Extreme attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
  • Strong bias for action with ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in German or French or Italian or Spanish or British English.
