In the context of the Company's growth strategy, we are looking to recruit a Fund Oversight Portfolio Officer to further strengthen our Investment Services in Luxembourg.

Our company is a reinsurance company located in Luxembourg (Steinfort) belonging to an international group. In this role you will act as an active member of the Investment team and will evolve while working with a diversified investment portfolio covering a full spectrum of the investment universe held by our subsidiaries : a SIF, a HoldCo and two PropCos.

  • Job description : Follow and update periodic procedures and controls to ensure the accuracy and validity of NAV; Monitor investments and transactional activities of fund managers;
  • Monitor payment transactions and maintain the overall cash flow planning; Act as a single point of contact between the Investment team and the Accounting department for consolidation purposes and year-end closing and ensure coordination to answer questions as they arise.

  • Assist in the development of forecast and budget activities; Maintain management and regulatory reporting accurately on a timely basis;
  • Ensure completeness of all relevant documents and information about a transaction during the lifecycle of the transaction and maintain the Counterpart and Transaction files and archives;
  • Handle ad-hoc analytical / reporting requests; Ensure timely and accurate data import into the Investment Management and Risk Assessment tools;
  • Ensure portfolios are compliant with laws, regulations, investment guidelines, policies and restrictions; Continuously observe and regularly assist in the reviewing and streamlining of operational processes and procedures to increase efficiency and quality of controls with the goal of minimizing operational risks.

    Your profile : Min. 2 to 3 years of audit experience specialized in the fund industry ideally gained in a big 4 firm. Experience in Real Estate and Private Equity industries is a plus.

    A Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Finance / / Banking or equivalent Strong knowledge of accounting practices Fair knowledge of financial markets and investment management industry standards Ability to multi-task and prioritize with great initiative and can-do attitude Possess a pro-active and flexible approach to workload and problem solving Team player, self-disciplined and ability to work independently Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with business partners, senior management and colleagues Strong skills in MS Office Excel Knowledge of Bloomberg and Multifonds software or equivalent is an asset Fluency in French and English, German would be considered as an advantage Sound knowledge of various financial instruments products and understanding of the investment universe.
