The Account Manager is responsible for customer management, dealing with the specific concerns and interests of the FERNBACH customer base at every level.
In co-operation with various experts, he / she acts as an interface between customers and FERNBACH with the objective of establishing and maintaining long-
term customer relationships. Moreover, he / she develops new sales potential regarding existing and new customers.

A university degree (or equivalent)
Project Management experience
At least 3 years FINTEC experience
Ability to deal confidently with managers and banking experts
Excellent writing skills and ability to edit offers
Mobility with regard to customer management

Ability to explain complex issues and present these clearly

He / she draws up customer programs
He / she works out strategies and delivers or updates these every 3 to 4 months
Together with experts, he / she represents FERNBACH in the steering committees for customers
He / she stays in contact with customers’ direct and indirect decision makers to develop business activities further, for example he / she should hold presentations to ensure that all the relevant departments are informed about the performance of FERNBACH applications.
A department is regarded as relevant if FERNBACH offers services that could be used there profitably.)
He / she analyses customer environments as well as the requirements of potential customers (hardware, software, architecture, decision-
making processes etc.) and is responsible for updating customer files
He / she and the Pre-Sales department develop processes for the target customers in order to present the FERNBACH products in an optimum way
He / she calculates the prices for the services set out in the tender with the PreSales department using the cost details provided by the operational units
He / she checks the relevance, accuracy and completeness of marketing material against his / her experience and customer requirements
He / she draws up orders and schedules the start of service provision in collaboration with the PreSales department
He / she organises regular meetings with his / her customers to check on customer satisfaction and the FERNBACH services and products.
If necessary, he / she transfers the solutions of any problems to the units responsible.
During the project phase, he / she obtains the necessary information on methods, techniques and prices from the Head of Professional Service for co-
operation with the customer. During the maintenance period, he obtains such information from the Technical Account Manager and passes this on the customer in accordance with the tender.
He / she plans and supports marketing activities, e.g. fairs or any type of events.
