The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Training & Certification team is seeking a driven, talented, and experienced Digital Skills Programs Manager who defines, drives and delivers complex AWS technical education programs and projects to support our customers and partners in developing a skilled workforce and to increase the AWS educational footprint on the EMEA market.

Here is your chance to join the AWS Training & Certification team working in the highly visible global role of Digital Skills Operations Programs Manager.

In this role you will be designing, building and executing tools and processes for the Global Digital Skills Program that leverage international and / or government skills strategies and help to develop adult learners into skilled cloud IT professionals.

In this role, you will need to be an excellent communicator and it is expected that you will have the ability to influence and convince others and to discuss and reach agreement for complex projects with multiple stakeholders, as well as be able to collaborate with variety of internal stakeholders in AWS Training and Certification Operations, Legal, Tax, Public Policy, Sales and Public Sector teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement program / project management tools and processes
  • Manage budgets
  • Coordinate project v-teams
  • Support Digital Skills projects and programs execution
  • Measure and report key program / project metrics
  • Evaluate, document and present program / project progress and results
  • Basic Qualifications

  • Excellent business writing and communications skills
  • Experience creating and improving operational processes across teams / stakeholders and external vendors
  • Proven track record of taking ownership, managing conflicting priorities and driving results
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with various levels of an organization, including senior executives
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, vLookups, Macros), Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Fluent English
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ Project / Program management experience (including knowledge around process flows)
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification
  • 3+ years relevant work experience in in education, training, or certification operations program management
  • 3+ Experience working on cross-functional teams
