CHAMPs main business areas are Cargo Management Applications; Supply Chain Integration Services; and Regulatory Compliance Services.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a : Customs Business Development Manager (M / F) Mission Grow CHAMP’s Regulatory Compliance Services which fall into two main areas : Traxon Global Customs (TGC) and Traxon Global Security (TGS).

Measures Revenue growth from CHAMP’s Regulatory Compliance Services through selling existing services to current and new clients, and through identifying new services to grow the portfolio.

Responsibilities Overall Understand CHAMP’s leadership position in air cargo Customs services, make and present business cases for new developments, define key competitive product functionality, guide developments, and promote sales.

Current services Take the commercial lead for TGC / TGS parts of new CHAMP sales.

Promote current services to existing clients (to have them use more) and to new clients.

Close business directly with prospects unless Sales need to be involved.

Every two months review our pricing and suggest if any changes are needed to achieve the targets.

Build and maintain a pipeline of potential new countries for TGC and TGS to identify growth opportunities and value.

Each should show the potential number of existing and new users, revenue potential by quarter, leading to business cases for investments presented through CHAMP’s opportunity assessment process.

New services Identify opportunities for new CHAMP services and write minimum viable product specifications and outline business cases to review with senior management.

Be recognized as a solution leader by sharing thought leadership externally through CHAMP newsletters and major account meetings plus press internally through updates to Sales, Marketing and Product teams.

The individual will work with a product team which is skilled in the detail of Regulatory Compliance Services.

He or she will liaise with Customs authorities, and with CHAMP Marketing and with Sales.

International travel will be required up to once per month on average to attend industry conferences, to meet with new customs authorities, or to support major sales bids.

  • Knowledge and skills At least 5 years recent experience working within the Air Cargo Transport Industry or with an IT services vendor Strong communicator able to present clearly in verbal and in written forms Commercial acumen to develop and present business cases An understanding of product management Good interpersonal and collaboration skills Fluency in English is mandatory;
