1. Key Purpose Statement

The Treasury Project Analyst will assist the BMI Treasury team in establishing a harmonized and efficient banking structure across the organization.

This is a 6 months fix term position.

Under the supervision of Treasury senior leaders, the right candidate will be responsible for opening and closing bank accounts, maintaining legal documentation and timely satisfying KYC audit requests for more than 100 European and Asian affiliates.

Critical to success will be the effective coordination with local finance teams in setting realistic but challenging deadlines and timely monitoring progress.

The Group’s banking architecture includes several pooling structures in various currencies and an in-house bank with over € 2.5 billion in assets.

2. Outputs & Accountabilities

  • Ensure that all new bank accounts are properly documented;
  • Track receipt and return of signed legal and banking documents;
  • Monitor progress and report problems in meeting deadlines;
  • Assist in closing non-preferred bank accounts;
  • Manage main banking partners’ portals;
  • Assist in developing and maintaining the Group’s bank account database;
  • Assist with KYC processes and other bank requests;
  • Act as main contact for local Finance teams for troubleshooting and technical support.
  • 3. Knowledge & Experience Required

  • Bachelor or Master in Business Administration (Banking or Finance background preferred);
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in Corporate Treasury functions with exposure to bank account administration activities;
  • Knowledge of banking KYC processes and associated documentation;
  • Strong English oral and written communication skills to ensure that complex banking documents and requirements are understood by non-specialists;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams;
  • Exposure to project management roles and ability to deliver results associated with specific deadlines.
