General Summary :
This position provides global pre-sales technical leadership and an advanced level of support in the identification, creation, and integration of solutions and strategies around consulting, outsourced engagements and global services.
This position will focus around Syniverse's transformation to a software and services company leading with or complimenting solution offerings with Global Services engagements.
Leveraging services expertise, this person will help our existing and new customers achieve positive business outcomes. This role will work with our sales professionals to identify opportunities, provide technical subject-matter expertise and commercial sales support.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
Perform the detailed solutioning design, integrations, assumptions etc. necessary to propose and win services engagements
Support / lead development of the contract SOW with the Services Sales lead and the Services proposal / pricing team
Support the contractual negotiations
Support services solutions delivery as the services solutions architect
Provide technical pre-sales subject matter expertise and sales support to global account teams throughout all stages of the sales cycle for global services engagements.
Develop and present to customers technical system solutions and associated sales proposals.
Document and deliver solutions specifications to service delivery teams
Lead in closing complex technical software and services engagements.
Provide frontline technical expertise in sales presentations and solutions demonstrations
Communicate market requirements to internal supporting teams to create and expand opportunities within our services offerings.
Responsible for helping to achieve and exceed sales targets across multiple solution areas.
Develop solution-specific Attack Plans for global customer segments.
Execute ongoing customer competitive analyses and market studies.
Assist Sales team as technical lead in pursuit of identified revenue opportunities.
Internal planning and strategy meetings around use-cases and best practices
Assist with Global Services RFP, SoW, and customer engagement proposals
Expense reporting, continued education and administrative work related to the role
Job Requirements :
BA / BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or Marketing
or equivalent job-related experience)
Proven architecture capabilities in SW / Service / Technology solutions
Proven delivery capabilities
Ability to take leadership and accountability for solutioning for profitable delivery
Deep understanding of the technologies of and surrounding SVR solutions and services (northbound and southbound)
Strong communications skills and ability to team across silos and with Partner organizations
Sales or sales support experience with enterprise or telecommunications companies is desirable
5-10 years of general business experience with proven success
Additional experience around the following desired :
o Consulting engagement, outsourcing, managed and professional services
o Service delivery, implementation and / or operations
o Digital transformation and cloud migration
o Working with data-driven analytics
o Ability to perform ROI Calculations and communicate around OPEX and CAPEX
o Technical subject-matter expertise in a wide range of solution areas and industry technologies
Additional skills desired :
o Strong leadership, analytical and organizational skills
o Strong understanding of financial principals and financial analysis
o Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio
o Strong public speaking ability
Working Conditions :
Travel will vary, but may be up to 50% and includes international travel
