As a Digital Marketing Specialist , reporting directly to the EMEA Marketing Director you will : Define the tactical direction & architecture of Gates European web sites in line with the global digital strategy and in support of the strategic initiatives of the business units.
Support the budgeting process and develop, communicate, and manage detailed project plans related to online initiatives.
Coordinate technical, functional & architectural development of all aspect of digital strategy (websites, marketing automation, CRM integration, campaigns, ) Build on a network based approach : find the right digital marketing service partners and manage a network of external satelites.
Investigate and recommend internet-based marketing (social media) opportunities based on online analysis. Sets up e-mail & other campaigns for the EMEA region (coordination & follow-
up on composition of address databases, development and distribution of the e-mails, sales leads and measurement of the effect).
Exploit Search Engine Optimization & Search Engine Marketing. Translate marketing ideas into optimum value for search engines.
Closely collaborate with the EMC project managers & digital marketing peers & management in Gates Denver headquarters. Act as the spokes person for Gates EMEA & advocate EMEA digital marketing requirements towards Gates US digital marketing management.
Support and manages the content marketing efforts. Is able to build a content delivery strategy across regions and channels.
Researche and evaluate employing new and emerging online value-generating technologies while benchmarking competitive advertising spend and programs for continuous improvement of marketing communication strategy and performance.
Perform benchmarking versus competitors’ site technicalities, functionalities & architecture. Serve as a liaison for the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software implementation Measure online interactions and provide regular reports of web traffic, web-
generated sales leads, benchmark value of web-generated sales leads, SEO traffic, followers, and develop strategies to quantify the business value of each.
Improve use of statistics and reporting (uses new statistical tools, new global & microsite(s) offers). Required Skills / Experience : Knowledgeable in web site management, online advertising, search engine marketing, e-
mail marketing and any other online marketing tools. Tactical thinking next to good organisational skills to plan and timely execute digital marketing projects.
Knowledgeable in marketing concepts, general understanding of business and marketing concepts and able to provide direction and evaluation of digital concepts.
Proficient in English Analytical and divergent thinking, attention to detail. Excellent social and communication skills, along with an international perspective and diplomacy.
Ability to evaluate design and usability of digital deliverables Stay current with new digital marketing technologies and trends.
General CMS knowledge (Sitecore, Hybris ecommerce suite), Google analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEO, SEA, HTML / CSS / JA, Hotjar, Adobe Marketing Cloud Marketing automation (preferably Marketo) Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign Conversion optimisation experience Agile mindset & experiene Master / bachelor degree in online marketing and / or communication along with 5 years of experience working in a corporate environment in general internet marketing in a b2b context.
