1. Key Purpose Statement

Provides critical support for the Supply Chain & Operations functions by Managing SC Demand Process for a specific Product Portfolio, analysing, monitoring, and reporting on key data and processes indicators.

2. Outputs & Accountabilities

  • Collect & analyse sales historical data for each consumption market
  • Build regional sales database for sales forecasting purposes
  • Forecasting the future requirements on a monthly basis and for a rolling 18 months period
  • Collect & challenge sales figures provided by Country Sales Manager
  • Chair the monthly demand review meetings with countries
  • Develop accurate new launch forecasts in collaboration with Sales Team
  • Manage seasonality & promotional events with Sales Team
  • Drive the consensus process
  • Provide input for capacity planning & production scheduling with a focus on demand changes & risks
  • Ensure that robust & consistent feedback are given by supply side following demand plan communication
  • Identifying & mitigating supply / demand issues
  • Coordinating demand / supply at a regional level
  • Delivering continuous planning improvement through forecasting accuracy measurement
  • Enhancing customer service performance by optimising inventory holdings
  • Measuring & monitoring suppliers performances (stock availability, production Lead time)
  • Be actively engaged in the future SAP deployment
  • Key user for future potential demand planning solutions
  • 3. Knowledge & Experience Required

  • BSc / BA in Logistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics or a related field
  • Senior profile with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a demand planning & supply chain management
  • Experience with a statistical baseline forecasting tool, advanced ability to work with excel and database management for data analysis
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g. inventory planning, warehouse management)
  • SAP experienced
  • Previously worked in an international team; cultural awareness
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, German fluency and good proficiency in any other European language would be a plus.
